Love what you ended up doing with the eyes, awesome job! :D

FuShark responds:

Thanks dude!

Lots of detail in this one Fu! ;)

FuShark responds:

Thanks

Great work Jinn! I'm liking how the nose actually has a nostril, and how the sclera blends well with the skin. ;D

JinnPixel responds:

haha, glad you notice! It's pet peeve of mine that cartoon characters often don't have nostrils!

Great style and personality! ;D

Saultoons responds:

Thanks man, appreciate your input :D

Woah this is looking so legit!

Leave a link of the comic in the description, this looks really good! :D

RomeroComics responds:

Thanks for the review, good to hear you like it!
Unfortunately I only made this one comic page for now, but in the future I will
surely make some other Dragon Ball pages like this.

Maybe you can check out some other comics on my official website:

Your style is great!

The style of of pixel art is great! One of the problems that I immediately see however is the saturation levels and how they don't vary. In general, saturation should be higher in darker tones than lighter tones, since gray sort of acts as a lighter color than more saturated colors.

The style of pixel art sort of reminds you of the work of Swords & Sworcery in respect to the linear emphasis in the image, and high level of readability in low res images. The difference is, your style lacks a level of saturation and variation that comes from selective dithering of areas. I would also recommend that you use anti-aliasing where necessary, like the inside of the floating ground.

Overall, I like it, and a culmination of your work would make a great game or short movie. :D

Carrion responds:

Thanks for the advice! Yeah i really want to work on making things work better in harmony with the background color and objects.
This was really helpful =]

Very Nice!

I like it! The trees look great, as does the fog and mountains. The island in the middle needs some work though, it looks way too unnatural. add a few iregularities to the island, and some grass in the water around it to make it look swampy.

Did this really take 5.5 hours to render? :S

<deleted> responds:

Yeah, but it is because of my crappy i5-660 dual core HT CPU :p Thanks for the good C&C. That island you see was a last minute change I made in order to make the sea look less empty :P

Glad you liked it !

Awesome model bro!

Nice model bro, I really like the faithfulness to the real deal. You know what probably happened, immature kids who thought it would be funny to rate down a PS3 probably did so because of their arbitrary belief that one device is better than the other.

Let's not bash other consoles, but remember that the purpose of all these things is the same, to game the way you want. Don't look at the rating then, at least until you have enough votes to cancel out those zeros. :D

EvilRaccoon responds:

Thanks Bluemagma! Yeah, i agree with you, there's a lot of people who are fanboys on either side. Best laugh is, i dont even own one, I own an 360. :P

Thanks for your comments and score, I appreciate it!

This looks insane bro!

I love the fact that you're using two lights in this piece bro, it really adds a great touch to the overall metallic armor. :D

Overall, it looks great, and the fact that you made it with Gimp makes it even better. ;D

voxmortemcg responds:

hehe thanks! metallic pieces are just meant to be shown with two sources of light imo, tho I'm not sure if I got all the shapes correctly with shading

Looks really nice!

I like it, it honestly looks really good. I don't think it belongs in the Pixel Art section though, maybe in the Illustration or Other section.

I'm loving all the references here. :D

Eric-McTrainshit responds:

Thanks! That says alot coming from a kickass artist like you. I think you art's awesome and all your styles look cool!
